Susan (Sue) Horowitz is a seasoned, licensed real estate broker and former professional educator who specializes in the sale, lease, exchange and investment of academic, religious, specialty health care and senior facilities, including land and business opportunities. Ms. Horowitz' expertise is working with non-profit organizations.
Sue Horowitz earned a B.A. and M.A. at San Diego State College, did post-graduate work at the University of Hamburg in Hamburg, Germany, the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed Ph.D. exams at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Ms. Horowitz is fluent in English, German and Spanish.
Susan (Sue) holds a California broker's license, and certified California teaching credentials in elementary, secondary, adult and post-secondary education, as well as certification as a bilingual [English-Spanish] educator.
Interests include travel, reading and languages. Hobbies include cooking, baking, needle arts, walking and swimming.
Sue is closely affiliated with the community and presently serves as a founding board member for Ivy Bound Academy Charter Middle School, and as a board member for Life Steps Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization established in 1983 to help people of all ages who have physical and mental health challenges manage their well-being and enhance the quality of their lives through home- and community-based therapeutic support, mentoring, education, and advocacy.
